Rising high school seniors who have been nominated by their high school principals. The program combines college course work in political science (for transferable college credit) with general college preparation. Participants have opportunities to meet college administrators, student leaders and community figures while engaged in current event debates, discussions and decision-making activities. The program concludes with a weeklong trip to Washington, DC, during which students observe the Federal Government, hear from national politicians and tour the Capitol.
