This intensive precollege program enrolls rising seniors who have displayed high achievement in math and science, particularly those students of ethnic groups lacking prominent representation in these fields of study. University faculty members teach calculus and research-based science classes in astronomy and computer science. Current Sewanee undergraduates assist the professors and serve as mentors to Bridge Program participants. Students need pay only for their trip to campus, as the university covers all program expenses.
