College of Arts and Sciences
Arcadia University’s College of Arts and Sciences prepares graduate students to connect study abroad to their field and participate in analytical deciphering at the international level. Featured at the College is a prominent art gallery that highlights exhibitions and curators from around the world, a national award-winning theater program, and award-winning faculty authors. Graduate students are presented with opportunities to intern in a range of areas and settings, including Philadelphia magazine, the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers, and WXTU Radio. Students are also given the opportunity to publish, perform, and exhibit on and off campus at art galleries, theaters, and other outlets. With the combination of language and culture programs, graduate students have a better understanding of real-world issues and a better global perspective. Students have the chance to study abroad in almost every field of study.

School of Education
Mentored by professors and supervisors, students in Arcadia University’s School of Education are able to teach in schools and community organizations from the beginning of their studies, which allows them to get an advance on gaining 10,000 hours of teaching practice. Through working with schools and educators, Arcadia is able to create opportunities for professional growth for students. Arcadia collaborates with a variety of schools throughout the community through programs that specialize in building positive approaches to deal with challenging behaviors. Global reach offers students the ability to develop teaching skills internationally in places such as Guatemala and Costa Rica. Faculty members are up to-date with the latest research and incorporate those techniques into their classrooms, giving students opportunities to implement on the job. Students also have the opportunity to present with faculty members at local and national conferences and research with faculty on topics such as inclusive education and family-school collaboration.

College of Health Sciences
Arcadia University’s College of Health Sciences allows students to participate in service learning and global experiences while studying with expert faculty known nationally and internationally. Graduate students conduct research and publish with faculty in fields such as public health, physical therapy, health education, medical science, and genetic counseling. In addition, students are able to study abroad at top universities and do pro bono clinical work in health-related disciplines. Programs are focused on evidence-based research and projectbased learning to prepare health care professionals for changing environments. Furthermore, Arcadia offers one of the largest physician assistant programs in the nation, as well as one of the largest genetic counseling programs. Courses are offered at the Christiana Campus in Delaware, the Dan Aaron Fitness Clinic in Glenside, and the main campus in Glenside.

School of Global Business
With a combination of concrete liberal arts studies and hands-on learning experiences in and outside the classroom, Arcadia’s School of Global Business prepares students to enter the working world as culturally competent individuals. Graduate business students don’t just talk about the global marketplace; they take a one-week international business trip, allowing them to meet with executives of global companies. Arcadia’s M.B.A. is a leadership-development program that enables students to analyze emerging global trends affecting business today. Graduate students use technology to improve areas such as management information, communication, and productivity. Furthermore, the M.B.A. program integrates cultural awareness and diversity in implementing ethical decisions. Classes are held one evening a week, one course at a time, in a seven-week format for 19–22 months. Students may also select a business area of concentration within the M.B.A. with a Global Perspective. These areas include entrepreneurship, finance, and leadership. Arcadia’s School of Global Business allows students to gain the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to succeed in today’s highly competitive business world.
