Iona is a private, comprehensive, Catholic college located on more than 45 scenic acres in New Rochelle, New York, just 20 miles north of Midtown Manhattan and easily accessible via Metro-North. 

The College prides itself in its sense of community, academic challenge, diversity, and commitment to mission and service. 

Liberal arts
The School of Arts & Science offers more than 30 graduate programs in 12 fields of study. Counseling and psychology (COAMFTE and NASP accreditation) offer five concentrations as well as two certificate programs: human resources and organizational behavior. Education programs (NCATE accreditation) can lead to professional teaching certifications or train you to transition into a career in teaching. Public relations (ACEJMC accreditation), offered at both the New Rochelle campus and our Rockefeller Center location in New York City, provides training based upon proven business principles and consulting models. The criminal justice program provides state-of-the-art training in the field, as well as the opportunity to earn certificates in forensic criminology and cyber-crime and security. Iona’s computer science program (ABET accreditation) is designed for students who want to advance in or transition into a rewarding career in computer technology. The newest graduate program, communication sciences and disorders, is designed to provide aspiring professionals with the competence to treat communicative disorders in all age groups. Graduate programs in English, history, and Spanish are also offered.

The Hagan School of Business M.B.A. program is accredited by AACSB International and offers eight concentrations: accounting (general and public), finance, health care management, human resource management, information systems, management, and marketing. Master of Science programs are also offered in finance, financial services, international finance, and public accounting. Also, over 15 certificate programs are offered, which include business continuity and risk management, e-commerce, international business, long-term care administration, and sports and entertainment business.
