The very best in Christian higher education
Mid-Atlantic Christian University (MACU) provides students with a unique Christian education. We believe an educational program should cultivate development in all areas of life—and in pursuit of that, the University provides a holistic learning experience through our staff, faculty, and the overall community. Because here, you are more than a number. Our admission department has a streamlined process and knowledgeable counselors ready to assist you at each step of matriculation. MACU is here to make sure you get the very best in Christian higher education because we want to see each of our students be a change in the world by using their gifts in their respective professions.

Equipping extraordinary Christian leaders
At MACU, we seek to train extraordinary leaders for service in the Kingdom. We have programs of study designed for those who desire to be involved in vocational ministry as well as a growing list of programs to help you serve God in a non-traditional ministry setting. We hope you'll join us in the adventure of impacting the world by transforming ordinary people into extraordinary Christian leaders. The heart of our University is our four-year Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, but with the realization that some students have academic goals beyond MACU, we also offer associate degrees and two certificate programs. Nearly all baccalaureate degree programs require students to complete an internship requirement where they'll learn firsthand while working with a local congregation, organization, or institution under the guidance of a field mentor and faculty advisor. Whether you're in the classroom or participating in practical experiences, MACU is committed to providing quality academic programs to train extraordinary leaders to serve in God’s Kingdom.

Building lifelong relationships
In our mission to impact the world by transforming ordinary people into extraordinary Christian leaders, we recognize that this training occurs in the classroom as well as in everyday living. Students are stretched in numerous ways during college to develop into stronger people and create memories that are carried on forever. The Student Life Office provides a living and learning environment that encourages students to grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically. The staff assists students with their various needs beginning from New Student Orientation and lasting throughout their academic career. Outside of the classroom, there are many campus activities available to our students. Various social events are planned under the supervision of the Student Life Staff assisted by the Student Life Committee, and there are numerous opportunities for community service and ministry as well. Our current collegiate athletic teams are men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, women’s volleyball, soccer, and golf; and there are additional intramural sports and open gyms with various activities for non-varsity athletes.
