There’s always something to do
Every weekend, Siena Night Life lights up the Student Union with trivia, casino games, live entertainment and more. Our Student Events Board organizes Winter Weekend, SienaFest, Charity Week and open mic nights. From guests like Derek Jeter to lecturers from CNN’s Hero of the Year, and even popular annual events like Hip-Hop Week. Off campus? The buzzing gets louder. Safe to say, you’ll never be bored as a Siena student.
Service
Service isn't something Saints talk about—it's something Saints do. Proudly. It's part of our Franciscan tradition and part of what makes Siena so different. And so awesome. Picture yourself feeding the hungry in Philadelphia, caring for the homeless in Boston or building houses in Jamaica. You can even expect to work on projects in your classes—or as part of an internship or research study—that have a lasting impact on our communities. St. Francis believed leaders should be servants. Saints hold that close to their hearts, and our alumni prove how valuable those servant-leadership qualities are in the workplace, at home and throughout their lives.
Athletics
Between intramurals, fitness clubs and the UHY Center, there’s no shortage of options to exercise your mind and body at Siena. The best part is that while some Saints prefer low-intensity cardio and others play DI basketball, at the end of the day, we all cheer on each other. In the Dog Pound, on the quads or at away games. At Siena, we offer 22 NCAA Division I athletic programs.

Hands down, the best way to know if you belong here is to visit. Sit by the fire pit on the Paddock. Attend a class. Take in the Million Dollar View from the Standish Library, and eat in a dining hall. High school students, families, guidance counselors—consider this an open invitation to take advantage of our many visit options, and then come again. We’d love to have you.

My coursework in both business and Spanish actually made me eligible for an International Studies in Foreign Language and Business Certificate, so having entered as undecided definitely had its advantages.”
