The Irish Way provides an introduction to Ireland’s history and traditions. Destinations include the cities of Dublin, Waterford, Killarney and Galway, where students live in traditional Irish boarding schools. Irish secondary school teachers conduct structured sessions in Irish language, literature, history and culture. Supplementary field trips and city excursions enrich the program. Students work on a group research project and have time to explore local host communities on their own. Participants tour the west coast of Ireland at the end of the session.
