Colorado's Flagship Christian University
As a university focused on Christ, we place a huge emphasis on your growth in academics as well as your relationship with the Lord. As a transfer you’ll get plugged in to student activities, local ministries, and mission trips and form authentic friendships—a hallmark of the Colorado Christian University experience.
At CCU you’ll find a solid foundation for both personal and professional development. With a healthy balance of close community, caring professors, and view of how God wants to use you and your God-given intellect, gifts, and talents, we set you up for a successful transition to our university.
Premier location
CCU is housed in Lakewood, Colorado, between downtown Denver and the Rockies. Denver is just 15 minutes away and offers a great mix of job opportunities, volunteer options, culture, entertainment, and pro sports. And within an hour’s drive from campus you can bike, climb, hike, kayak, ski, snowboard, or visit Pikes Peak or Rocky Mountain National Park—to name a few.
Plus, you’ll live on campus with apartment-style housing. It’s a chance to gain the freedom of living in an apartment while enjoying the campus community here.
Intentional spiritual growth
You’ll grow closer to God—alongside your peers—with activities like discipleship groups and campus chapels. At CCU you’ll be encouraged to participate in God’s kingdom through community service, student-led local ministries, and mission trips. In recent years CCU mission teams have visited over 50 countries!
Campus life
CCU students are intentional about experiencing life together and digging deep into one another's lives. Our students are actively committed to supporting each other in their passions and dynamic pursuit of Christ. When you attend CCU, you’ll become part of a Christian campus community that is learning, growing, and having a blast together.
There is plenty to do at CCU whether you live on campus or off campus. Know what you're passionate about? If you can’t find something that suits you here, we challenge you to start a new club, organization or ministry! Learn about the student activities available.
