Tina Brooks has enjoyed a professional path that has wound through publishing, nonprofit organizations, freelance writing and editing, academia, and, finally, college admission. She has her BA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and her PhD in English from the University of California, Berkeley. She has taught at Agnes Scott College and West Chester University, worked in admission at Scripps College, and currently works at Pomona College. Overseeing electronic and print communications for Pomona admission allows Tina to exercise her creative muscles, while managing the student blog keeps her happily working with students on their writing.
