Learn to be an effective administrative leader and thoughtful policy analyst with a Master of Public Administration (MPA). The Marxe School MPA is ranked among the best in the nation. It is fully accredited by NASPAA, the nation’s chief accrediting body for schools of public affairs and administration.

MPA students develop skills in budgeting, communications, economic analysis, fundraising, leadership and management, program evaluation, and research methods. Knowledge of US government and public policies in such areas as immigration, the environment, housing, economic development, health care, and foreign affairs is gained during the course of the program. Online Master of Public Administration (OMPA)
The Marxe School Online Master of Public Administration provides students with an asynchronous, fully online, flexible, affordable degree for employment in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors. The program has the same goals and mission as the campus-based Baruch Master of Public Administration, but gives students the opportunity to complete their degrees in an online, asynchronous format.

Master of Science in Education in Higher Education Administration (MSEd-HEA)
The Master of Science in Education in Higher Education Administration (MSEd-HEA) at the Marxe School seeks to produce leaders and managers who are well-equipped to take on the challenges of the unique world of higher education. Whether you are currently in the field or looking to change careers, the program offers the framework needed to succeed in today’s ever-changing higher education domain. Graduates pursue careers as executives, directors, coordinators, and analysts of programs and services on college campuses and beyond.

Master of Science in City Planning (MSCP)
The Marxe School’s Master of Science in City Planning (MSCP) provides a rigorous and relevant grounding in today’s field of city, community, and regional planning practice. Its curriculum is cost-effective and flexible, offering a degree more expeditiously (36 or 39 credits) than many other program options in the tri-state area.

Faculty with local, national, and international practical experience and leading academic credentials from the world’s top city planning programs

Courses offered both in-person and via a hybrid modality (i.e., a mixture of online and in-person class meetings).

Students can also take elective classes from the Marxe School’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Master of International Affairs (MIA) programs, and in Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business, including its Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) program.

Online Executive Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration (EdD-HEA)
The Online Executive Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration (EdD-HEA) prepares practitioner-scholars to adeptly integrate real-world wisdom with cutting-edge research to solve higher education’s most pressing challenges. Through our fully online, asynchronous program, doctoral students hone their ability to translate theory and knowledge into strategic action—emerging equipped to identify complex problems, implement evidence-based solutions, and measure meaningful impact across diverse educational landscapes.

Master of Public Policy (MPP)
The Marxe School MPP program prepares students to analyze complex public problems, evaluate policy alternatives, and lead with evidence and equity. Graduates will be equipped for careers in government, nonprofit, private-sector, and international organizations, with opportunities in policy analysis, advocacy, research, consulting, legislative affairs, and related policy fields.
