Master of Public Administration

Ranked among the best in the nation, our MPA degree helps students develop the practical skills and deep understanding of public service they'll need to lead government, nonprofit, and private sector organizations and to foster effective and inclusive institutions that strive to further economic and social equity in New York City, the nation, and the world.

Executive Master of Public Administration
One of the original Executive Public Administration programs in the nation, our EMPA develops confident, innovative, ethical, and strategic leaders with the capability to make a difference in government and nonprofit administration. In this challenging new world, our MIA degree offers students a rigorous, multidisciplinary academic understanding of global challenges and governance while providing the skills to address them. Students also receive advanced training in key techniques of policy analysis, budgeting, assessment of political culture, global communication strategies, regionally specific issues, and comparative methods.

Master of Science in Education in Higher Education Administration
Located within the largest urban higher education system in the United States, our MSEd-HEA aspires to produce talented leaders and managers who will effectively chart the future of higher education institutions. The program is ideally structured to meet the needs of people currently working in higher education who seek to advance their roles and responsibilities.
