Applicants must be Iowa residents and members of Iowa Army or Air National Guard units. Students must pursue a certificate or undergraduate degree at an eligible Iowa college or university and maintain satisfactory academic progress. Applicants must satisfactorily complete required Guard training and maintain satisfactory performance of Guard duty.
