Life at Whitworth
Students come to Whitworth University not just to be taught, but to learn. They come for an education. And we recognize that a sound education is not limited to the classroom or to formal educational activities; there is another side to the curriculum. The student-life program is the "other side" of this educational process. It is an opportunity to deal with questions like these: "Who am I, and what are my gifts?" "How do I develop durable, trustworthy relationships?" "How do I grow spiritually, and how can I find ways to express my faith in service to others?"

Student clubs: Black Student Union, Gaming Club, Hawaiian Club, HOLA (Heritage of Latino Americans), Pre-Med Club, Student Investment Group, Ultimate Frisbee, and dozens more.

Intramurals for all: Whether for fun or for the coveted championship T-shirt, more than half of our students participate in intramural sports, from Ultimate Frisbee to roundnet.

The arts: Got a heart for the arts? Students of all majors participate in more than 20 instrumental and vocal ensembles, and multiple theatre events and art exhibits.
