North Park embraces and values all people and celebrates the global cultural tapestry that is reflected on our campus.
North Park University's core institutional identity—Christian, city centered, intercultural—is the driving force behind our vision to be a university of uncommon character and enduring excellence, where faith, learning, and service meet.
Located in the world-class city of Chicago, with a student-faculty ratio of 15:1, and class sizes averaging 17 students, our students are treated with the highest level of care and attention. Our most popular majors are Nursing, Business/Economics, Biology, and Exercise Science.
North Park’s learning community adopts the city of Chicago as a foundation for academic excellence. We are proud to educate students from diverse backgrounds, with 51% of our student body identifying as people of color. We practice Christian hospitality with students of all faith traditions, while centering in the affirmations of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
Our park-like campus is home to 19 varsity sports and an array of cultural, social, academic, and political student organizations. Students build community with one another in residence halls, over lunch at 1891 Bread Co., or playing Frisbee on the quad. North Park truly combines the best of a traditional college experience with the vitality of the city.
