LOCATION

Columbus State University is located 100 miles southwest of Atlanta, Georgia, in Columbus, home to fortune 500 company Aflac Inc. and the birthplace of the original Coca-Cola and RC Cola. Take in outdoor concerts, cafés, great shopping, and the beautiful RiverWalk—with untouched natural surroundings—all downtown near the world’s longest urban whitewater rafting course: a 2.5-mile stretch along the Chattahoochee River.

International Student Services: The Center for Global Engagement (CGE) strives to provide support and guidance to our many international students. Along with assistance with services such as visas, documents, student advising, tax assistance, and international student service scholarships, the CGE also offers orientation, a mentorship program, field trips, and cultural enrichment opportunities for students.

Financial Aid: The International Student Service Scholarship, for qualified international undergraduate and graduate students on an F-1 student visa, is an out-of-state tuition waiver available to a limited number of international students who have been accepted to or are currently attending CSU.

• IELTS: 6.5 overall band score
• Pearson (PTE) Academic: 58
• The SAT/ACT is optional for international students.

CSU Bridge Program
International students who have taken a standardized English proficiency test and need additional English study may be eligible to apply for CSU’s Bridge for English Learners program. This program provides students the opportunity to take advanced English as a Second Language (ESL) courses in the intensive English program at the English Language Institute (ELI) while concurrently participating in undergraduate or graduate programs.

CSU’s programs are ranked by U.S. News & World Report (10th for Most Ethnically Diverse Regional Universities), Affordable Colleges Online, Top Management Degrees, and College Choice. Additionally, CSU places in the top 50 Public Regional Universities in the South and top 100 among all regional universities in the South. CSU’s online graduate programs in Business and Computer Science have also been ranked among the top 35 nationwide by The CEO Magazine and GoGrad.org.
