Bay Path University, located in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, is empowering women to seize the day, to become better leaders, to pursue their passions, and to develop their distinctive talents. A four-year women’s university, Bay Path is a small, supportive community. 

Did you know Bay Path University has eight different science major options? Each of our science majors emphasize the integration of lectures and laboratory techniques with a learning environment that promotes critical and independent thinking. Classes are small so students have the opportunity for discussion, exploration, and an exchange of ideas.

• Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometer
• Confocal Microscope
• 3500 Genetic Analyzer 

Women in STEM Honors (WiSH) Program 
Bay Path’s Women in STEM Honors (WiSH) program offers a four-year curriculum consisting of advanced integrated study and research to eligible students. WiSH students receive an annual renewable $2,500 scholarship in addition to their merit scholarships upon acceptance to Bay Path.

WiSH Advantages:
• Participate in project-based seminars, designed to nurture your development as women in the scientific or technological field and
give you the skills you need for your profession.
• Begin actual research in your first year in collaboration with faculty and other professional and peer mentors to prepare you for graduate and professional school as well as dynamic careers in industry and medicine.
• Receive mentoring by upperclass students, faculty, and accomplished scientists in the field.
• Have access to global opportunities via virtual sessions with prominent scientists.
• Engage in service activities with other WiSH students, allowing you to begin impacting your world now and truly making a difference.
