A great educational value

At Texas Tech, we invest in Red Raiders and value the many contributions you can make to our community both inside and outside the classroom. The University is ranked among "America's Best Value Colleges" by Forbes, which means you'll experience a higher return on investment through some of the best employment rates in the nation and lower-than-average student debt.

Additionally, as a non-resident student, if you're awarded at least $1,000 in competitive scholarships from Texas Tech University per academic year, you'll qualify for an out-of-state tuition waiver. The Competitive Scholarship Waiver allows you as a non-resident student to invest in your future at one of the most affordable prices in the country.

Michener as the “most beautiful west of the Mississippi until you get to Stanford” and by Stewart Mandel of Sports Illustrated as “easily one of the 10 most beautiful campuses” he had ever seen. Many of the University's newly constructed buildings qualify for LEED certification, yet maintain the consistent Spanish theme throughout campus.
