Your future in science and engineering begins now

Are you ready to solve complex problems, make new discoveries, or build the next wave of technology? Framingham State University provides a dynamic and supportive environment where you can transform your curiosity into a career. With a strong focus on hands-on learning and close faculty mentorship, FSU’s science and engineering programs are designed to give you the skills and experience you need to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.

Hands-on academics
At FSU, you learn science by doing science. Whether you’re interested in Biology, Environmental Engineering, or Computer Science with a concentration in AI and Data Science, your education will take place in modern labs and in the field. All Biology majors complete a capstone research project, working side-by-side with professors on real-world investigations. In our Computer Science programs, you'll master multiple programming languages and can even gain professional experience through a cooperative education track that integrates full-time, paid work experiences into your degree.

A community of innovators
Your journey at FSU extends beyond the classroom. The University’s MetroWest location puts you at the center of a bustling tech and biotech corridor, offering a wealth of internship opportunities. On campus, you can connect with like-minded peers in the STEM Club or gain valuable experience at the renowned Christa McAuliffe Center for Integrated Science Learning, a hub for STEM education and outreach.
