This just in: Smaller is still Smarter.

If you’re looking for quality over quantity, personal attention and big scholarships, check us out. Texas Wesleyan is a small, private, affordable university on a safe, small campus just minutes from downtown Fort Worth, TX. Our small community approach allows for a tailored student experience in and outside the classroom.

Small school. Big scholarships.
We’re intentionally small and we like it that way because it helps you thrive. But, we believe some things should be big, like scholarships up to $21,000 per year. Everyone deserves a chance at a quality education.

Engaging educators
“You in the back” is not your name. Our average class size is 15 and our professors know your name. Our full-time faculty are pushing students to think in new ways. Add to that fieldwork, internships and study abroad, where students experience real world concepts in real time, and you’ll see why our students love it here. Just talk to one of our professors; you’ll be ready to sign up for a class, too.

Critical thinkers
The world needs bold thinkers to challenge and lead, and many students will need graduate degrees to get there. We see that, and that’s why we emphasize critical thinking and analytical reasoning. They are the skills that prepare students for graduate school and professional careers. Students learn more than facts—they learn to think for themselves.

Movers & shakers
How do you spot a Texas Wesleyan grad? Look in Congress, the state legislature, or behind the bench in a courtroom. Spot executives and managers in all types of businesses or look in a local classroom and watch a teacher inspire a child. Our graduates are problem solvers who relish new challenges. And why not? They practiced it here.
