Character. Scholarship. Leadership.

At Indiana Wesleyan University, students live and learn within a Christ-centered culture that is committed to disciple-making and influencing one another to become more like Jesus in every area of life. IWU is intentional about helping students discover their God-given individuality and life calling to grow in kindness, humility, belonging, integrity, and courage—the University's community values. IWU offers more than 80 undergraduate and 30+ graduate degrees that are nationally known for their curricular innovation, use of hands-on learning experiences, and student success rates. For example, our Nursing majors have consistently exceeded the NCLEX national pass rate for the past 14 years.

IWU is known for developing students in character, scholarship, and leadership. Students run the school's coffee shop, McConn Coffee Co.; conduct, publish, and present original research at academic and professional conferences; and travel the globe for academic studies, mission work, and performances. Our Wildcat athletic teams have won 188 Crossroads League championships, 25 Crossroads League trophies, and 16 national championships as well as produced 441 NAIA All-American athletes.

Distinctive Programs:
Life Calling and Career Office

At Indiana Wesleyan University, we believe everyone has a life calling. Discovering that calling is a journey. Let us travel with you through the process to provide resources, tools, and support. Your calling is more than your major or career—it's about who you are and what you can contribute to the world. All students are eligible for free life coaching by one of our trained and certified life coaches. Life Calling & Career serves as an academic home for students who enter the university without a major and are exploring their options. For many students, the Exploratory program is a wise choice for taking time to make an informed decision and avoid changing majors, which can be costly with time and money wasted. IUW provides a variety of Life Calling courses for students to further explore their purpose.
