They must be majoring in a subject that emphasizes dairy (such as agriculture education, business, communications, economics, food science, journalism, marketing or public relations). Applicants must plan to pursue a career in the dairy industry. Selection is based on stated career goals, academic excellence, dairy-related coursework completed, leadership and integrity.
