United in spirit. Grounded in truth.

AT A GLANCE

Union is one of the most welcoming schools I have been to, with faculty members who genuinely care about and pour into students—as is evident when they set time aside to have coffee with a student or open their homes to them. Union’s strong core values equip each student as they prepare to go out into the world and the work field.”

Our students come from around the world. Faculty members are leaders in their fields. We come from different places, but our commitment to God unites us. Together we share a love for Christ, vigorous academics, innovation, creativity, and service. We hold fast to biblical truth and caring Christian community.

Our students and faculty work together in scholarship and research but also in service and mission opportunities. What we share at Union our graduates take with them as they pursue successful careers, ministries, and graduate education in some of the best schools in the world.

Union University is repeatedly recognized across the nation for the quality of its education, the exceptional value it provides to students, and its overall affordability. Since 1997, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Union as one of the best universities in the South (a top-tier national university this year).

Stellar faculty
Union faculty members excel not only as Christian scholars and authors, but as mentors who are committed to building relationships with their students and seeing them develop as individuals. All classes are taught by professors, not graduate students.

Worldwide opportunities
Union students come from 43 states and 33 countries. They participate in internships with regional and national companies and study abroad in places such as England, Jordan, and Italy. Many Union students also go on short-term mission trips throughout the world.

Student life and service
Union offers about 50 student-produced music and theater events each year. Students host a live daily television news program and publish an award-winning student newspaper and literary journal. They compete in men’s and women’s varsity sports in NCAA Division II and a wide range of intramural sports. Union has also been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll seven years in a row.

Private bedroom for every student
Union residence halls are constructed apartment style: four bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and one or two bathrooms. Residents have their own private bedrooms while sharing an apartment with three other students.
