For Christ and Country
If you’re a high school student searching for a high-quality, Christ-centered education in an environment that emphasizes caring for our brothers and sisters in Christ, Geneva College could be right for you. Geneva offers students an academically rigorous education and a supportive community that takes an interest in getting to know each individual as a unique person made in God’s image. We're a small Christian college where you’ll prepare for your life’s work while making lifelong friendships with fellow students who share your values and your desire to live in a place that fosters academic excellence and promotes integration and belonging. You’ll also work closely with professors who care about your academic, personal, and spiritual growth.
A supportive community
The College is home to a robust community of students from a variety of backgrounds. Student-led groups are supported by college leadership, including the Diversity & Inclusion club and the Black Student Union. Each year, we host numerous events to enhance cross-racial and cross-cultural understanding, including Convergence: Unity in Diversity, a symposium examining issues of racial justice and restoration through a biblical perspective; the Martin Luther King Jr. Night of the Arts; Bring It to the Table, a topical discussion over a shared meal; and family dinners to build bonds between students of color. As one of the first colleges in the 19th century to accept Black and women students, Geneva has a long heritage of educating underrepresented groups. The College even played an important role in the Underground Railroad.
Preparation for your life’s work
With a vocational focus and emphasis on discovering God’s calling, Geneva prepares students in over 145 majors and programs. Geneva alumni serve as doctors, engineers, teachers, airline pilots, missionaries, church and community leaders, elected officials, and in many other roles that require intellectual agility and practical wisdom.
