Christian Life Profile

For Christ and Country

If you’re a high school student searching for a high-quality, Christ-centered education to prepare you for your life’s work, Geneva College could be right for you. The College offers students an academically rigorous liberal arts education in a superb learning environment. We’re a small private college where you can make lifelong friendships with fellow students who share your values and desire to make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ. You can also develop meaningful relationships with professors who care about your academic, personal, and spiritual growth.

Preparation for your life’s work
With a vocational focus and emphasis on calling, Geneva prepares students to excel in today’s world. Geneva alumni serve as doctors, engineers, teachers, airline pilots, missionaries, church and community leaders, elected officials, business owners, and in many other roles that require intellectual agility and practical wisdom. Geneva offers over 145 undergraduate majors and programs. Our ABET-accredited Engineering program was ranked among the top 100 “Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs” in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, and 100% of our Engineering students are working or in graduate school within six months of graduation. What’s more, over 80% of Geneva graduates who apply to med school are accepted.

Christian focus
A Geneva education is grounded in the truth of God’s Word in every aspect of student life—academics, athletics, and activities. Every one of our experienced and accomplished professors is a committed Christian who challenges students to be all that God created them to be. Our low 13:1 student-faculty ratio means more personal attention and guidance in all areas of life.

A valued private education
Geneva College is a sound investment for families making big decisions about budgets and long-term commitments. Geneva focuses on values and strives to keep the cost of a private Christian college education within reach in several ways. First, the College offers many students significant scholarships based on their high school academic performance. Second, we lower costs by reducing the credits necessary to complete degrees through programs like Early College. Third, the community welcomes student workers who can reduce their expenses directly through their earnings. Geneva ranks as a “Top Performer on Social Mobility” for 2021 by U.S. News & World Report and among the top 100 schools as a “Private University of Value” in 2019 by Kiplinger.

Campus life
There’s a lot going on at Geneva. We offer high-level athletic training and competition with 19 NCAA Division III varsity athletic teams for men and women. We also offer extensive intramural and club sports that connect athletic and non-athletic students with opportunities to enhance their physical fitness, character development, and leadership skills. Examples include flag football, indoor and sand volleyball, rugby, dodgeball, and table tennis.

Geneva has more than 40 student organizations and coordinates 200+ student programs and activities each year. Organized music ensembles include The Genevans choir, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and more. There are theater productions and Film Fest, groups such as Spanish Club and Dagorhir, and professional organizations for Accounting, Engineering, Criminal Justice, and more.
