Belmont’s beautiful campus is located in the heart of Nashville, a thriving creative city full of opportunities in the performing arts. CMPA offers a variety of ways for students to gain professional experience and serve the Nashville community and beyond. CMPA has partnerships with companies and organizations, including the W.O. Smith Community Music School, Nashville Shakespeare Festival, and the Nashville Opera. Several national music and theatre organizations have active campus chapters. Music Education majors spend a semester teaching and Music Therapy majors are placed in health care facilities. The student-led Belmont Reperatory Theatre performs in elementary schools. Several music ensembles tour regionally and internationally.
