Applicants must be active or reserve Ordinance soldiers or OCA members or members or their immediate family. They must write a 300- to 500- word essay about the reasons they are seeking the grant and why they feel they deserve it and a 1,000- to 1,500-word essay on the missions, heritage or history of the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps.
