We know that where you study effects how you learn. That is why we invested in our students and have constructed a new $25 million business building opening in 2020. Our innovative new facilities will allow our students to combine classroom knowledge with practical experience, as well as interact with faculty and business executives. Instead of being limited to a typical classroom, our new additions create a real-world environment and include:

• The Consumer Behavior Lab provides a space for students to conduct research, lead focus groups, and learn firsthand how consumers make decisions

• The Research & Innovation Hub serves as an adaptive space for students to interact and freely share ideas with their peers, professors, and members of Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region business community

• The Finance & Big Data Lab simulates the live trading of Wall Street and uses state-of-the-art technology (like the Blomberg platform) to teach students how to analyze and apply financial data

At SVSU, we provide our students with the opportunities and resources to become accomplished alumni, and we are proud of all that our students accomplish.
