Art School Portfolio (Parsons, SAIC, Pratt, SVA, Cornish)
HOWDY! this is a video of my photography and videography portfolio when i was working on my art school college applications and how you can go about yours in the future. i applied to parsons school of design, pratt institute, school of the art institute ofchicago (SAIC), school of the visual arts (SVA), cornish college of arts, the university of southern california (USC), the cooper union for the advancement of science and the arts, and I think that's pretty much it! in this video i walk you through the website a lot of these schools used called SlideRoom which is just a way to submit your portfolio electronically. i then showed my parsons challenge and give some helpful tips about how to talk about your work and different ways to distinguish yourself as an applicant. i am a freshman at the new school (parsons) and would have changed a lot looking back at my portfolio now. bUT, i got into basically all the schools that i wanted to so im not trippin. i hope you enjoy and leave any questions you have in the comments below or shoot me an instagram DM and ill do my best to answer any questions you might have about applying to art schools!! going back, i wish i would have only applied to school in manhattan / new york city because i spent way too much money on application fees but it was all worth it to be where i am todayFinals Week at Parsons School of Design
I bring you along with my last 2 weeks at Parsons and show the projects I was working on.Tishman Auditorium
