Kaskaskia College's roots go back to 1940 when it was a part of the Centralia High School District and was known as Centralia Junior College. In 1966 the college expanded to become a comprehensive community college in a multi-county district and was named Kaskaskia College. The main campus is located on 198 rural acres in Centralia, IL.
