To qualify, a student must have a minimum 2.6 cumulative GPA. Cottey is test optional (a standardized test score is not required for admission); however, if the student has a test score, the scholarship will be based on either GPA or ACT/SAT score (whichever is higher). For transfer students, the scholarship is based on GPA only. Merit scholarships start at $8,000 and may go up to full tuition. Students will be informed of their award when they receive their admission decision or shortly afterwards. Students must be enrolled full-time. Awards are based on the highest test score or GPA received by March 1. Institutional scholarships will not exceed the total cost of tuition.
