St. Cloud State University Minnesota State Grant

This program helps students from low and moderate income families pay for educational expenses. Applicants must be Minnesota residents who are graduates of a secondary school or its equivalent or are at least 17 years of age. Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduates for at least three credits and must not have received a baccalaureate degree at the time of application. Applicants must also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the MN Dream Act. The maximum award ranges from $7,343 at a public two year college to $11,753 at a private four-year college.

This program assists students who have demonstrated outstanding ability, achievement, and potential in one of several critical subject areas. Applicants must be Minnesota high school graduates and enroll full time and in a baccalaureate degree granting program. The scholarship can be renewed annually for up to three academic years. To apply contact the financial aid office to request an application.
