This holiday season, CollegeXpress is excited to bring back our annual CX Gives Back Giveaway—a week of fun, prizes, scholarships, and giving back to wonderful charities and our incredible student community! Mark your calendars from December 9–13, 2024 as we roll out five days of daily challenges on Instagram, giving you a chance to win some money and support great causes at the same time.
What is the CollegeXpress Gives Back Giveaway?
Here's what you need to know about this year's CX Gives Back Giveaway:
- When is the giveaway? This year’s giveaway runs from Monday, December 9 to Friday, December 13—and each day is another chance to win! The deadline to enter each day is 11:59 pm ET.
- What can I win? Each day of the CX Gives Back Giveaway, one lucky winner will snag a $100 Amazon gift card, and CollegeXpress will donate $100 to a different charity, which you can learn more about below.
- How do I win? For each daily challenge this year, you'll need to make sure you enter our special $1,000 CX Gives Back Scholarship contest (you just need to enter once to participate the entire week!); follow @CollegeXpress on Instagram; like each day’s Instagram post; and answer the daily question in the comments of the post before midnight on each contest day. (PS: Applying for the CX Gives Back Scholarship requires you to be registered on CollegeXpress.com. You can create a free CX account here. If you already have an account, you can find the scholarship application on our Featured Scholarships page during the contest week and enter there when you're logged in.)
- How are the winners chosen? The day after each daily contest, we’ll choose one random winner from the eligible participants and contact them through Instagram, so be sure to check your DMs and visit @CollegeXpress for updates throughout the week.
How to enter our daily giveaways
Entering the CX Gives Back Scholarship is the first step you need to take to participate in CX Gives Back—and it's another chance for you to win big! Just create a free CollegeXpress account (or log back in), enter the scholarship contest, and then you’re all set for a chance to win the $1,000 scholarship and participate in all the Instagram contests the rest of the week! (Please note: Entering the CX Gives Back Scholarship contest more than once will not increase your chances of winning.)
After that, just follow the instructions listed on each day's challenge. We'll pick a random winner from the eligible participants and contact them the next day!
