Colby-Sawyer College is a dynamic and innovative liberal arts and sciences college located in the scenic Lake Sunapee Region of central New Hampshire. 

During their college careers, 100% of our students participate in one or more internships in their field of study. They also create Learning Portfolios, allowing them to demonstrate their ongoing progress and achievement. Colby-Sawyer students conclude their senior year with a Capstone project in which they develop and demonstrate a deeper body of knowledge in their academic major.

Colby-Sawyer College has again been recognized as one of the top colleges in the region by U.S. News & World Report, earning top 10 rankings in three categories in its 2021 “Best Colleges” issue.

The annual report ranked Colby-Sawyer in the top 10 “Best Regional Colleges in the North” for the fourth consecutive year, while also recognizing the College for “Best Value” and “Social Mobility” among schools in the North. Colby-Sawyer ranks first among New Hampshire institutions in all three categories.

Stuebner said. “This recognition speaks to the all-around strength of the institution as well as the value of the education we offer. We are delighted with these outcomes.”
