What is a summer pre-college program?

A summer pre-college program is a sort of summer school for high school students hosted by a college or university. Now, while summer school might sound like the last place you would want to be during your free time, pre-college programs are designed to cater to your interests so you can have fun and learn at the same time.

Most colleges around the United States, and some in other countries, offer summer programs. They can last for a week, a month, or even the whole summer, depending on which program you choose. Colleges provide a plethora of options when it comes to selecting which courses you want to take, and they usually are very unique and thought-provoking experiences and the perfect way to spend your summer.

CollegeXpress has helped me by opening my eyes to new opportunities. I learned about such easy ways to get financial help to achieve my dreams while also learning about myself and who I truly am. I know this isn't a very long explanation of what CollegeXpress has done for me, but nonetheless, I believe it's crucial to how I developed as a person throughout my time as a college student.

I love this website and have been using it for years with my students. I originally bought products through Wintergreen Orchard House and appreciated having key facts at my fingertips when advising students. Your site is easy to access and offers a wide array of topics I need as a busy college counselor.

I used CollegeXpress to search for colleges. It helped me narrow down the schools on the West Coast and which schools had Construction Engineering programs. I made my decision to go to OSU and I am so excited about it.

I found CollegeXpress when you partnered with Bold.org for a scholarship. I found your website, put my information in, and got connected. I only wanted to stay in North Carolina [for college] and not move far from home, but you all opened a door up for me. I started researching colleges you suggested for me. On your social media platforms, you also give really good test-taking tips that I used and suggested others to do the same. It helped me a lot on my exams, so thank you.
