  • Professional wrestler and former WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker attended Kennesaw State University and played football at the University from 2016-2019.
  • Spring 2025 Kennesaw State University Kali Terza played Track and Field for the University and signed a deal with WWE. Kali also qualified for the 2024 Olympics and is on track to qualify for the 2028 Olympics.
  • Alums Bill Lorton and Vaughn Cato of Kennesaw State University wrote much of the core software program for the motion capture used in “Avatar: The Way of Water” that just won an Academy Award for best visual effects.
  • Mac Powell attended Kennesaw State University while co-founding the Christian rock band Third Day, which has sold over 10 million albums, earned four Grammy awards, one American Music Award, 24 Dove Awards, and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.
