More than an education
At Creighton University we don’t just believe in helping you advance in your career with a graduate degree; we believe in helping you achieve your full potential. We understand the importance of this investment—not just for your work but for all of your goals, including making a difference in the world. That’s why we help our students thrive in a rigorous academic environment for an education and a network that will last a lifetime.

The Creighton University vision and mission underlies everything we do: we are a Jesuit university marked by a passion for learning and making a difference. Our programs are aimed at helping students from all backgrounds and walks of life reach an unparalleled level of achievement.
The same Jesuit spirit of intellectual openness and celebration of differences that drives the University cre
ates an ideal academic environment for graduate students. You’ll work closely with recognized faculty scholars, enhance your critical thinking, and build knowledge and skills that will open doors in your personal and professional worlds.

Creighton’s nine schools and colleges deliver a challenging and rewarding education, connecting arts and sciences, business, dentistry, law, medicine, nursing, occupational/physical therapy, and pharmacy, as well as programs in Emergency Medical Services, and Health and Wellness. And we continue to earn national awards and distinctions for excellence in education while fostering a culture of service, as evidenced by the more than 8,000 students who volunteer hundreds of thousands of hours in their communities. U.S. News & World Report has consistently ranked Creighton as the #1 Midwest University and a “best value.”

Broad range of graduate programs
Creighton’s first master’s degree was conferred in 1893, and the Graduate School was formally established as a separate division of the University in 1926. Today the Graduate School offers over 40 areas of study for master’s degrees and several doctoral programs that will help you work toward a professional degree, start a new career, or move up in your current career. The range of disciplines includes Business, Conflict Resolution, Education, Humanities, Leadership, Ministry, Health Care, and Science. In addition, some of these programs may be combined in a way that allows you to complete dual degrees for fewer credit hours than would be required if obtaining two separate degrees.

Graduate programs are designed to meet the needs of students and are available in a number of delivery methods, including on campus, online, and hybrid/blended. Nearly two-thirds of Creighton’s graduate students enroll on a part-time basis, which allows them to continue their education while maintaining current employment and meeting the needs of their fami
lies. Whether online or on campus, small class sizes mean more personalized attention as well as greater opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration.
