Our academic power starts with these teacher-scholars who influence students’ individual lives and influence knowledge worldwide.

Experiential learning
At Rutgers–Camden, you’ll be able to apply your classroom knowledge across a wide variety of real-world settings. You’ll build skills and a résumé while earning academic credit and/or money through our internship programs.

Through a series of civic engagement courses, Rutgers–Camden students learn what it takes to change the world. Knowledge, commitment, and skill come together in courses designed specifically to combine classroom learning with service activities that allow you to put your new skills to work while helping strengthen your communities. It’s your chance to connect with the world as the Delaware Valley becomes your classroom.

International studies
There’s a world of opportunity out there, and at Rutgers–Camden, your classes are part of that world. Through the Learning Abroad program, you can experience new cultures and gain international travel experience during one- or two-week study trips.

Working with professors before and after the trip, you’ll learn to apply a global context to classroom teaching and get to see the world from a whole new perspective without putting your entire life on hold. See learningabroad.camden.rutgers.edu for current programs.
