Watch Mckenna show you around her 8 man suite in 90 STM!
Mckenna lives in an 8 man suite in a building on lower campus at BC, ideal housing for upperclassmen. She has her own bedroom that she shares with her one roommate and there are 3 other bedrooms in the suite. There are two bathrooms and a kitchenette also included in the room. In a freshman dorm, it would typically be just her bedroom and she would share a communal bathroom with the other people on her floor.Mckenna tells you more about classes at BC
At Boston College classes that you take as a freshman and sophomore will generally be larger lecture hall style classes, as well as many of the core classes you have to take. As you move through your time at BC classes will generally become more specified and get smaller and more discussion based. The professors are really open to getting to know the students as well as giving help to the students when they need it, so office hours are a great time to do both. They are generally set up so that you can see when they are scheduled or email them for a different time to meet if you're not available when their normal office hours are held.Mckenna takes you through Gameday at BC
Gameday tailgates at BC are some of the best days at here on campus. They're a great way to hang out with your friends and get excited about the football game. Boston College tailgates are not the crazy state school tailgates, but rather family style, where a student's parents can purchase a spot either for the game or the season, but they are fun none the less and much less stressful than at some other schools. You can go to one of your friend's parents spots and hang out and get ready for the game.Nothing like GameDay at Boston College!
The football team is an important part of the BC experience! This is a video of the Red Bandana game, a tradition that honors alumnus Welles Crowther (Class of 1999). Welles Crowther died during the 9/11 terrorist attacks and reportedly saved at least a dozen lives while wearing his trademark Red Bandana - the same one he wore while playing lacrosse at BC.I would like to receive updates and offers from CollegeXpress via email.
