All about the CX digital magazines
Your school counselors will remember the print magazines we used to send to schools across the country. We started printing our college search magazines way back in 1985! A lot of things have changed since then, including how we distribute these resources. We’ve gone green and digital, offering these valuable college search resources in a new and improved online format that you can access anytime, anywhere! Our magazines include quick introductions to our featured schools, plus top-notch articles and advice to help you with the college and scholarship search process. It’s the perfect tool to help you start researching colleges you’d like to apply to—plus, we make it easy to connect with these schools so you can get on their radar and demonstrate your interest!
What’s a featured school?
A featured school is one that we’ve partnered with to help you connect and request information quickly and easily. Every school featured in our college search magazines is one of our partners—which means they’re looking for students like you and want to make it easier for you to learn more about them. The green “Yes, connect me” buttons on any CollegeXpress featured profile allows you to request information in one click. You’ll also find all our partners based on major and school type on our Featured College Profiles page.
Digital magazine student audiences
When we went digital in 2020, we really wanted to focus on five distinct audiences because we had many partner schools looking for these types of students. Between the plethora of religious colleges in the US, the increase in international education, the value added from a graduate degree, and the gap in guidance for students looking to transfer, these resources are great for assisting students with specific needs in finding the colleges to support them.
Catholic Colleges & Universities
Are you seeking a private college education in a Catholic environment? Catholic Colleges and Universities magazine features great institutions with strong foundations, excellent academics, and an appreciation for developing the whole person, plus questions to ask during your college search, strategies to win more scholarships, and more.
Christian Colleges & Universities
Students looking for a private college education in a Christian environment can explore amazing schools with renowned academic programs, strong values, service learning opportunities, and more in the Christian College & Universities magazine. You’ll also find advice on organizing your college research and the advantages of choosing a Christian college.
International Colleges & Universities
Students outside the US looking for welcoming four-year institutions can discover great colleges and universities that are actively recruiting international students by reading the International Colleges & Universities magazine. You’ll also learn scholarship search tips and common misconceptions about American schools that you need to know before you head to campus.
Transfer Colleges & Universities
Most students want to have a smooth transfer process from their current two- or four-year institution. The Transfer Colleges & Universities magazine helps you connect with great colleges and universities where you can complete your higher education without losing credits and gain insight into scholarship search mistakes, transfer-specific campus visit questions, and more.
Graduate Colleges & Universities
Students seeking an advanced degree program to reach their academic and professional goals will discover great grad programs in the Graduate Colleges & Universities magazine. These schools are looking for ambitious students like you, and we offer advice on the search and admission process as well as strategies to help cut your costs with scholarships.
