A Distinctly Different Business School

A small-college experience where your professors know your name and the vast, rich resources of a world-class research university—if you think you can’t have both, think again.

The Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics is perfectly sized at around 2,500 students and is part of the dynamic University of New Hampshire. What’s the value? You get a first-rate education in business and economics, along with the opportunity to study things outside the Business school and participate in avariety of clubs, sports, arts, educational, and social opportunities.

The perfect location
The Paul College of Business and Economics is located on one of the safest college campuses in the country, close to Portsmouth, Manchester, and Boston, all of which have dynamic business communities offering internship and job opportunities. For outdoor enthusiasts, you couldn’t pick a better campus, with the ocean about 15 miles to the east and the White Mountain National Forest—offering skiing, hiking, and other mountain-related recreational activities—about 70 miles to the north.

Be successful in the modern marketplace
What will tomorrow’s organizations look and feel like? Will you graduate from college prepared to contribute to an ever-changing business world? With an undergraduate degree from the Paul College of Business and Economics, you’ll be equipped to answer those questions with conviction.

We offer a vibrant learning community that is rigorous and collaborative, strong on theory and real-world experience. Here, the educational success and career readiness of every student matters. You learn from our world-class faculty—not TAs. They will open your eyes and minds to new ways of thinking. You will be surrounded by classmates who are interested in gaining new skills and knowledge to start their careers and are motivated to push the boundaries in the classroom and within themselves.

Learn by doing
What separates us from other business schools are experiential opportunities that allow you to grow and learn in ways you never thought possible. Study abroad. Run an investment fund with thousands of real dollars on the line, or manage a digital marketing agency with actual clients. Stretch your entrepreneurial muscles by entering a business plan competition and win prize money to bring your idea to market.

Our innovative Business in Practice (BiP) program is taking experiential learning to a whole new level. We bring the business world to campus, engaging industry experts to teach courses that are contemporary with current business practices. You’ll learn the skills and tools employers demand from subject experts who use those skills every day. BiP will provide you with the opportunity to put what you learn in the classroom into practice. Topics include developing career strategies, inbound marketing, Bitcoin, blockchain, and Agile, to name a few.

Dedicated professional and career support
When you’re ready for on-the-job training, our career counselors, 19,000+ alumni network members, and numerous corporate partners will mentor you, help you build your professional skills, and help you make connections to land a dynamic internship and job. Paul College graduates secure challenging and rewarding positions at world-class companies such as Digitas, Dell EMC, EY, Fidelity, Four Seasons, Goldman Sachs, Google, Impax Asset Management, Liberty Mutual, and Wayfair.
