This intensive program, which follows a writing process approach, teaches students to compose college-style academic papers. In a small-class setting, pupils read contemporary and traditional literature, which then becomes the focus of their essays. Discussion sections led by current Carleton students and writing workshops meet daily. Faculty provide written evaluations of participants' three main papers. Successful program completion results in college credit.
