Agawam combines waterfront activities, land sports, creative arts opportunities, and an outdoor living skills program that includes one- to five-day backpacking and canoeing trips. Boys receive guidance in selecting their activities, and an award system tracks progress and serves as a source of motivation. Tennis and sailing are particularly strong elements of the program. Although Agawam is essentially a seven-week camp, a very limited three-and-a-half-week session is open to certain new campers.
