NOLS provides extended wilderness, water and mountaineering expeditions, along with semester-long courses. Each course emphasizes a core curriculum of risk management and judgment, leadership and teamwork, outdoor skills and environmental studies. International programs serve students age 18 and up. Participants may earn college credit through certain programs.
