Through excursions lasting five to 23 days, TWA provides summer outdoor adventure education in the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire and Maine. Trips typically include such elements as backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking and rock climbing. A minimum of two instructors leads each group of six to eight campers. Participants in each session may take part in a service project to help maintain the trail systems in the White Mountains. Specialty camps in mountain biking, white-water kayaking and leadership are available to boys and girls who wish to concentrate on a specific skill.
