Summer Focus enables rising high school juniors and seniors to take UC-Berkeley courses for university credit, while also previewing college life. Pupils attend class with continuing Berkeley students, visitors from other schools and countries, and members of the Bay Area community. In addition to taking core courses, program participants receive tutoring most evenings and have exclusive access to electives taught by Education Unlimited faculty. The program includes weekend excursions to San Francisco, Santa Cruz, nearby amusement parks, theatrical and musical productions, and professional baseball games.
