Youth in Transition assists teens and young adults who are blind or visually impaired in developing life skills and independence. Tutoring and instruction are available in personal management, mobility and communications. Counseling is also offered individually or in peer groups. Recreational and social activities include field trips, canoeing, sailing and dances. The center also provides academic tutoring and conducts work experience and computer training programs.
