Northwood's special-needs program serves learning-challenged and high-functioning autistic children. Campers take part in traditional camping activities while receiving the extra support and structure they require. Children develop self-esteem and social skills through participation in daily academics and an array of activities, and staff also provide formalized social skills instruction.
