This intensive academic program for motivated high schoolers focuses on the development of critical-thinking and writing skills. Students improve their reading and analytical skills and, through course work in the humanities and the social sciences, also learn strategies for both expository and creative writing. At session's end, pupils receive a grade for both academic work and class participation, earn two transferable college credits and possess a portfolio of college-level writing.
