Divided between central Paris and the university town of Aix-en-Provence, this Excel program provides students with field-based seminars that lead to an exploration of French history, art and culture. Pupils may choose either to refine their French language skills or to gain a deeper understanding of the country through course work that emphasizes France. Each student chooses one major course and one minor course; both meet throughout the program (three full days weekly for major classes and two full days per week for minor courses). Instructors make significant use of the cultural and historical opportunities presented by the two cities.
