Campers learn French language, customs and traditions while taking part in an individualized activities program that includes watersports and land sports, theatricals and crafts, overnight hikes and trips to other islands in the San Juans. Canoe Island schedules family camps over the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends each year. None of the camp's programs have language prerequisites.
