Dunnabeck specializes in assisting intelligent children who are underachieving or failing in their academic work because of dyslexia. Teachers use the Orton-Gillingham approach while combining work in reading, writing and spelling. All tutoring is done individually, with each student receiving an hourlong daily lesson. Boys and girls engage in such extracurricular pursuits as horseback riding, mountain biking, watersports and arts offerings.
